These new SMOS Sea Surface Salinity (SSS) products specifically for the Black Sea region have been created under the funded ESA project ITT Earth Observation data for Science and Innovation in the Black Sea (EO4SIBS) (contract 4000127237/19/I-EF).
Three different products are generated:
Daily map of SSS for ascending and descending satellite overpasses in a rectangular grid at 0.25º resolution, from 2011 to 2020.
Daily map of 9 day in a rectangular grid at 0.25º resolution, from 2011 to 2020.
Daily fused with the Copernicus Marine Service (CMEMS) with the identifier SST maps (CMEMS id: CMEMS_SST_BS_SST_L4_REP_OBSERVATIONS_010_022 ) in a rectangular grid at maps at 0.05ºx0.0505º resolution, from 2011 to 2020.
