L3 Arctic SMOS SSS maps V4

SSS maps in high latitude ocean areas and Arctic Ocean are computed at BEC using a new methodological approach for reducing the contamination close to the ice edge, and with better quality and resolution than its precedent version. The product has the DOI number: 10.20350/digitalCSIC/16251. The work has been funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) Arctic+ Salinity project (AO/1-9158/18/I-BG) and Arctic+ SSS CCN (4000125590/18/I-BG), and by MCIN/AEI/\-10.13039/501,100,011,033 through the projects EO4TIP (PID2023-149659OB-C21) and INTERACT [PID2020–114623RB-C31].
