High latitude and Arctic SMOS SSS maps V3.1

SSS maps in high latitude ocean areas and Arctic Ocean are computed at BEC using a new methodological approach to cope with land and RFI contamination, and with better quality and resolution than the available products. This new version of the product has been funded by the ESA Arctic+ Salinity project (AO/1-9158/18/I-BG).  The product has the DOI number: 10.20350/digitalCSIC/12620.

The product is a daily map of 9 day objective analysed data at EASE 2.0 grid, at 25 km resolution, from 2011 to 2019
